The Location

Tucked away in the quiet seaside village of Talpe in southern Sri Lanka, Secret Beach Talpe offers a peaceful beachfront setting. It is situated just steps from the soft sands of Talpe Beach, providing direct access to the shore. The villa is also a short 1.7 km stroll from Mihiripenna Beach and 1.8 km from lively Koggala Beach.

Despite its secluded ambiance, the villa is conveniently located near local cafes, restaurants, and public transportation. The Talpe train station is just 650 meters away. The area is also home to scenic beaches like Mihiripenna, Koggala, Dalawella, and Unawatuna.

A calming place. Surrounded with nature. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Each room had attached bathrooms. The staff was very nice and helpful. We gave dry food and they cooked meals for us. The food was really tasty. They even did the BBQ for us. 10/10

Although we stayed for one night only, we had a wonderful time at this idyllic getaway. We specially enjoyed the exceptional hospitality provided by your staff. The garden was fantastic. Our guide was happy to point out the different species of plant life. We were even treated to a proper Sri Lankan thunderstorm in the middle of the night – very exciting!

We had a pleasant stay with a bunch of kids for three days. Pleasantly surprised with the peacocks and beautiful scenery around the house. Had a nice walk into the forest area which was educational for the children. Food was awesome.
